Dayton Loudspeaker has just made it easier for you to build that awesome subwoofer you've always wanted! Perfect for the builder who does not have the time, equipment or patience to build his or her own subwoofer system from scratch. This cabinet utilize 3/4" MDF and is precision CNC cut with cutouts for our HPSA500 or HPSA1000 subwoofer amplifier and 12" subwoofer,and then assembled with polyurethane glue for superior strength. Strong edge joints and internal brace are important for achieving strength and minimal panel resonance. The enclosure is meticulously sanded and primed, then painted with three coats of textured matte black enamel to create a durable long lasting finish. All edges have a 1/4" roundover and a 1" grill wrapped in black cloth to finish off the aesthetically pleasing design. Drilled and T-nutted for floor spikes and 10-32 speaker mounting hardware. Spikes and speaker screws not included.

All SWC cabinets use the Dayton Audio B-REX removable/replaceable baffle exchange system. The 1" thick MDF blank baffles are custom-cut by the user to fit a given driver and amplifier, and are then fastened securely (permanently or not) into the enclosure. These stout, CNC-cut boxes are constructed from 3/4" MDF side panels backed up by a 1" x 3" cross brace, resulting in a rigid, well-damped subwoofer cabinet. Finishes match the popular Dayton Audio speaker cabinets—polished gloss black lacquer, and lush natural cherry or maple hardwood. A new high-value textured black vinyl covering is available for projects that demand a more understated appearance while enjoying the benefit of greatly reduced cost. Note: These cabinets do not have cutouts for amplifiers or woofers—you will need to cut your own holes per your design. Each enclosure includes two black satin finish baffles (one each, front and back) with mounting hardware, a magnetically attached grill, and four rubber feet fastened by 6 mm barbed inserts. The barbed inserts are compatible with Dayton Audio cone spikes, available separately.
