You can easily connect many home run leads from multiple IR receivers to the input terminals of a Xantech connecting block, or from Xantech 760-00 match maker room volume controls to the output terminals of a main amplifier.

The 796-20 is a six zone connecting block that allows IR control of elaborate multizone audio/video systems. It serves as an expansion module for the 795-20 or, by itself, as a six zone block. Expansion beyond 6 zones can be achieved with multiple 796's, limited only by IR noise considerations. The zone input terminals permit the connection of any Xantech IR receiver, keypad or controller device. Each zone output can control 2 or more pieces of equipment per zone, independent of the other zones, via single or dual emitters or be direct wired to the IR input of Xantech preamps or similar devices. The common output port can drive one single or one dual emitter or the IR input of Xantech connecting blocks for control of common source equipment from any zone. The 796-20 utilizes active isolation devices for elimination of internal zone-to-zone cross-talk as well as high speed amplification to all output ports for operation with a wide range of IR controlled products.

The Model CB12 provides a low cost means of connecting Xantech quick connect IR receivers and standard 3-wire IR receivers to one single or one dual emitter and a power supply in an infrared repeater system. Supported inputs include a 3.5-millimeter stereo mini plug for an IR receiver and three terminal "VGS" block for wired connection of Xantech IR receivers and Smartpad keypads. An IR emitter should be connected to the 3.5-millimeter stereo mini plug output.

The 789-44 provides a quick low cost means of connecting Xantech IR receivers and keypads to four single or four dual emitters, with a power supply, in an infrared repeater system. It can also provide emitter expansion for various Xantech devices, such as the 590, 710, 792-10, 795-20, or 796-20. The STATUS terminal provides a convenient tie point for voltage to drive the STATUS indicator on certain Xantech products, such as the 780-80 IR receiver.

It features one 3.5-millimeter mini-plug stereo plug for input and two for output. The OUT ports are driven in parallel with a 470-Ohm resistor connected in series with each port. The resistors ensure proper current sharing to each emitter. Because of this current sharing feature, you may connect any combination of Xantech emitter models in the 282, 283, 284 and 286 series.
